Wow I just got the beta version of office 2007 today. It is very good I am actually using it to write this Review right now! The GUI is beautiful see this pic.

But be warned this GUI does severely slow down your computers performance. However it looks like Microsoft is entering its darkest age. During the last Couple of Years Microsoft has favoured interface over performance. This may seem good for the casual computer user but for power users it has slowed down their speeds. Also Microsoft seems to be copying Apple. The GUIs Microsoft is using nowadays is a giant difference from the days of the text-based DOS operating System. We hope that Microsoft will include an option to disable the New Fangled GUI in the final versions of Vista and Office just like XP. Office 2007s menu fonts seem to be using Microsoft’s Clear Type technology. The default font is not Arial like previous office versions but a new font called Calibri. Calibri is the menu font as well. We expect to see Calibri favoured over Arial in years to come.
Still Microsoft has produced a solid office suite.
